Born in Columbus, GA in 1951, Mr. Head is now a frequent seminar lecturer on DUI law, criminal trial practice and on legal issues surrounding the use of alcohol and drugs. He has been licensed to practice law in Georgia since 1976 and South Carolina since 1990. His first private practice was established in 1976.

In 1976, Mr. Head graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. He has been named to the University of Georgia Moot Court General Board, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in American Law and many others.

He and his firm are “av” rated, which is the highest rating, with Martindale-Hubbel, America's oldest and most respected attorney rating service. Martindale-Hubbel has named Mr. Head and his firm to “The Bar Registry of Pre-Eminent Attorneys” for the past six years.

Mr. Head was named to Law & Politics magazine's SuperLawyers list for the past several years in the field of Criminal Law.
